The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked a senior Indian diplomat to register the protest against recent occupation ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along the control line (LoC) in the Hajipir and Sankh sectors near India.
Indian forces along the LoC and the labor border have continuously attacked areas populated by civilians with artillery fire, large-caliber mortars and automatic weapons. To date, India has committed 940 ceasefire violations in 2020.
In a statement, the State Department spokesman condemned the unfortunate targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian armed forces, saying that such senseless acts are an obvious violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement and violate all established humanitarian standards and professional military conduct.
