Minister of Maritime Affairs, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi, speaking to a private news broadcaster, said the Sindh government should focus on combating the corona virus instead of criticizing the federal government’s initiatives to combat the COVID 19 outbreak.
The minister said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is adopting a corona virus policy related to the 18th Amendment. Added that the opposition party is criticizing the government for its smart blocking policy,
He said: “The opposition did not care about the hunger of the people, but the government was fighting the pandemic and the hunger of the corona virus at the same time.”
He said the previous governments also destroyed the country’s and institutions’ infrastructure through their policies.

وزیر برائے سمندری امور سید علی حیدر زیدی نے ایک نجی نیوز چینل سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سندھ حکومت کو کورونا وائرس پھیلنے سے نمٹنے کے لئے وفاقی حکومت کے اقدامات کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنانے کے بجائے کورونا وائرس پر قابو رکھنا چاہئے۔
وزیر نے کہا کہ پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) 18 ویں ترمیم کے معاملے پر کورونا وائرس کے معاملے پر سیاست کر رہی ہے۔ مزید کہا کہ حزب اختلاف کی جماعت سمارٹ لاک ڈاؤن کی اپنی پالیسی کے بارے میں حکومت پر تنقید کرتی ہے
انہوں نے کہا ، “حزب اختلاف لوگوں کی بھوک کی پرواہ نہیں کر رہی تھی لیکن حکومت بیک وقت کورونا وائرس وبائی بیماری اور بھوک کے خلاف مقابلہ کر رہی ہے۔”
انہوں نے کہا کہ سابقہ حکومتوں نے اپنی پالیسیوں کے ذریعہ ملک اور اداروں کا بنیادی ڈھانچہ تباہ کردیا تھا۔
