Olympics: UK could use 'lethal force'

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: Air Force of Great Britain who are prepared to shoot down any rogue aircraft in London on Saturday under tight new restrictions are applied two weeks before the Olympics.




Olympic security has made the headlines this week after Britain was forced to deploy additional 3,500 soldiers to fill an embarrassing gap last minute private security personnel.
On Friday, Britain's Royal Air Force said the planes that deviate in the protected area could ultimately be demolished.
"Ultimately, we as a lethal force option," said Air Vice-Marshal Stuart Atha, the commander of Air Olympic Security.
