The Pakistan Airlines Pilots Association (PALPA) said that none of the pilots in Pakistan hold dubious ATPL licenses.

Our position was reaffirmed after the Director General (DG) of the Pakistani Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) informed DG CAA of Oman in a letter that none of the pilots in Pakistan had dubious ATPL licenses, said the Pilots Association.

The PALPA said the letter quoted that none of the licenses were questionable and that the matter had not been dealt with in an amicable manner.

It should be noted that the Acting Director General of the Pakistani Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), Hassan Nasir Jamy, stressed on Tuesday that the institution has already screened 96 Pakistani pilots from 104 names received from various civil aviation authorities and foreign airlines.

Acting Director and Aviation Secretary of the PCAA, Hassan Nasir Jamy, sent a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority (PACA) – Oman to address concerns about the issue of suspected pilot licenses.
