Musharraf to appeal bail before arrest

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan will appeal to the Supreme Court on Thursday against an order for his arrest, a party spokesman said.




The spokesperson for Musharraf's All Pakistan Muslim League told AFP that, if the order is confirmed, then expect the authorities to put the retired general under house arrest at his estate on the outskirts of Islamabad.
"Musharraf is composed and confident.'ll Go in appeal before the Supreme Court today. If the court rejects our appeal, we will present the law," the spokesman said APML Muhammad Amjad.
"I think if an arrest is necessary, the authorities will have to declare the farm a sub-jail," he added. (AFP)

اسلام آباد…ذرائع کے مطابق پرویز مشرف اور ان کے وکلاء نے اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کے فیصلے کیخلاف سپریم کورٹ میں اپیل کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔اس حوالے سے پرویز مشرف کی پارٹی کے عہدیدار وں کا شام 5بجے پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب متوقع ہے۔واضح رہے کہ ججز نظر بندی کیس میں اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے سابق صدر پرویز مشرف کی درخواست ضمانت کی درخواست مسترد کرتے ہو ئے خارج کرتے ہو ئے ان کی گرفتاری کا حکم دیا ہے۔ دریں اثناء پرویز مشرف کے گھر چک شہزاد جانے والے تمام راستے سیل کر دیئے گئے ہیں اور ان کے گھر سے رینجرز ہٹالی گئی ہے، جبکہ کچھ پولیس کی بکتر بند گاڑیاں چک شہزاد پر ویز مشرف کی رہائش گاہ پر پہنچ گئیں ہیں۔
