Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and member of the National Assembly, Munir Khan Orakzai, tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, said Munir’s son, Akhtar Munir Orakzai.
Akhtar Munir Orakzai said: “My father was ventilated at the Hayatabad complex last night. He is much better now.
He added that his father became infected with the virus after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for the virus. “My father is at home because of the ban. The rest of the family is also being tested, ”he said.
Previously, Kamran Bangash, chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan’s special assistant to local government, had tested positive for coronavirus.
