Membership of 45 parliamentarians remain suspended

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Participation as 45 senators, members of national and provincial assemblies are still suspended after the passage of time of two weeks for not presenting the details of their assets to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Geo news reported Tuesday.




The ECP had forbidden October 15 parliamentary and 254 MPAs work as legislators by suspending its membership.
ECP Sources said the belongings of the 109 lawmakers had been restored Senator Lashkari Raisani memberships, Humayun Aziz Kurd MNA Awais Leghari and addition of 34 MPAs of Punjab, three from Sindh, and one of Balochitan were suspended yet.

اسلام آباد…سینیٹ،قومی اور صوبائی اسمبلیوں کے 45 ارکان نے ابھی تک الیکشن کمیشن کو اپنے اثاثوں کی تفصیلات فراہم نہیں کیں جس کی وجہ سے دو ہفتے گزرنے کے بعد بھی ان ارکان کی رکنیت بدستور معطل ہے۔ الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان نے 15 اکتوبر کو اثاثے ظاہر نہ کرنے والے سینیٹ،قومی اور صوبائی اسمبلیوں کے ایک سو 54 ارکان کی رکنیت معطل کرتے ہوئے انہیں بطور ممبر کام کرنے سے روک دیا تھا۔الیکشن کمیشن کے ذرائع کے مطابق ایک سو 9 ارکان کی رکنیت اثاثوں کی تفصیلات فراہم کرنے پربحال کردی گئی ہے جبکہ سینیٹر لشکری رئیسانی،ارکان قومی اسمبلی ہمایوں عزیز کرداوراویس لغاری کے علاوہ پنجاب اسمبلی کے34،خیبر پختونخوا کے 4،سندھ کے 3 اور بلوچستان اسمبلی کے ایک رکن نے ابھی تک مالی گوشوارے فراہم نہیں کیے، اس وجہ سیان کی رکنیت بدستورمعطل ہے۔
