Lahore: dacoit killed in encounter, 1 escape

(eNews.pk) - LAHORE: A suspected robber was killed, while another managed to escape during a police encounter, which took place in the Gulberg area of Lahore, police said.




According to police, the bandits opened fire on the police in the way of Hali. In retaliation police also opened fire, wounding a bandit.
The robbers went to the private clinic in Guru Mangat Road that the accused tried to flee after opening fire on police.
Police chased the bandits and killed one of them, while another managed to escape.

لاہور … لاہور کے علاقے گلبرگ میں مبینہ پولیس مقابلے میں ایک ڈاکو ہلاک جبکہ ایک فرار ہوگیا۔ پولیس کے مطابق گلبرگ کے علاقے حالی روڈ پر لگائے گئے ناکے پر ڈاکووٴں نے پولیس پر فائرنگ کردی۔ پولیس کی جوابی فائرنگ سے ایک ڈاکو زخمی ہوگیا، جو طبی امداد کیلئے گرو مانگٹ روڈ پر ایک ڈاکٹر کے نجی کلینک پر پہنچا۔ پولیس کے وہاں پہنچنے پر ڈاکو فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے فرار ہوگئے تاہم پولیس نے ان کا تعاقب جاری رکھا اور حسین چوک کے قریب مقابلے میں ایک ڈاکو ہلاک ہوگیا جبکہ ایک فرار ہوگیا۔
