اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے نواز شریف کو ‘مفرور’ قرار دے دیا
اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے بدھ کے روز سابق وزیر اعظم نواز شریف کو مفرور قرار دے دیا ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق یہ احکامات جسٹس عامر فاروق اور جسٹس محسن اختر کیانی پر مشتمل دو رکنی بینچ نے جاری کیے۔
عدالت نے سابق وزیر اعظم نواز شریف کی جانب سے العزیزیہ اور ایوین فیلڈ ریفرنس میں ان کی سزا کے خلاف دائر اپیلوں کی سماعت کی۔
عدالت نے مریم نواز کی اپیل کے ساتھ ساتھ نواز شریف کی اپیل کی اگلی سماعت بھی طے کی۔ نواز شریف کی اپیل پر اگلی سماعت 9 دسمبر کو ہوگی۔
نواز شریف نے اپیل کی کہ عدالت اس حکم کو کالعدم قرار دے اور اسے ایک نمائندے کے ذریعے اپیل میں حاضر ہونے کا موقع فراہم کرے۔
اس سے قبل نومبر میں لاہور میں احتساب عدالت نے سابق وزیر اعظم نواز شریف کو مفرور قرار دے دیا تھا اور غیر قانونی پلاٹ الاٹمنٹ کیس میں ان کے خلاف ناقابل ضمانت وارنٹ گرفتاری جاری کردیئے تھے۔
کیس کی سماعت کی صدارت کرنے والے جج اسد علی نے بھی نواز شریف کی جائیدادیں ضبط کرنے کا حکم دے دیا۔
عدالت نے قومی احتساب بیورو (نیب) اور صوبائی محکمہ محصول کو اگلی سماعت پر ضبطی سے متعلق رپورٹ پیش کرنے کی ہدایت کردی۔
عزیزیہ ریفرنس میں ، نواز شریف کو سات سال قید ، کسی سرکاری عہدے پر دس سال تک پابندی عائد ، اس کے نام پر تمام جائیداد ضبط کردی گئی ، اور تقریبا چار ارب روپے جرمانہ عائد کیا گیا۔
The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday declared former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif a fugitive.
According to details, the orders were issued by a two-member bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani.
The court heard appeals filed by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif against his sentence in the Azizia and Evan Field references.
The court fixed the next hearing of Nawaz Sharif’s appeal along with Maryam Nawaz’s appeal. The next hearing on Nawaz Sharif’s appeal will be on December 9.
Nawaz Sharif appealed to the court to quash the order and allow him to appear in the appeal through a representative.
Earlier in November, the accountability court in Lahore had declared former prime minister Nawaz Sharif a fugitive and issued non-bailable arrest warrants against him in an illegal plot allotment case.
Judge Asad Ali, who presided over the hearing of the case, also ordered confiscation of Nawaz Sharif’s properties.
The court directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the provincial revenue department to submit a report on the confiscation at the next hearing.
In the Azizia reference, Nawaz Sharif was imprisoned for seven years, banned from holding public office for ten years, all property was confiscated in his name, and a fine of about four billion rupees was imposed.
