HRCP outraged at minorities' exodus

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed alarm and a strong sense of outrage at the continuing exodus of minority religious communities of Sindh and Balochistan, and said it speaks well of the state's inability to meet the concerns of these communities despite repeated reminders from civil society.




In a statement issued Friday, the Commission said: "The state of anger and panic caused by reports that several hundred citizens of Sindh and Balochistan Hindus migrated to India has diminished somewhat by the disclosure that were on a pilgrimage. of them said that Pakistan would, while some said no.
"In any case, reports of citizens of Indian migration to India have been coming form of Sindh and Baluchistan, quite regularly. Some minority spokesmen have argued that vested interests are threatening and scaring the non-Muslims to force them to emigrate. Some of these elements are said to be religious extremists, while others plan to take ownership of minorities. in any case, there is no doubt that minorities have been the despair, "the statement added.

لاہور…انساني حقوق کميشن پاکستان کا کہناہے کہ اقليتوں کي نقل مکاني تشويشناک ہے حکومت اپني ذمہ داري کا احساس کرے. لاہور سے جاري ايچ آر سي پي کي پريس ريليز ميں کہا گيا ہے کہ سندھ اور بلوچستان سے اقليتوں کي نقل مکاني قابل تشويش ہے اور سول سوسائٹي کي متعدد ياددہانيوں کے باوجود رياست انکے تحفظات دورکرنے ميں ناکام ثابت ہوئي ہے.سندھ اور بلوچستان سے ہندوو?ں کي بھارت منتقلي کي اطلاعات تواتر سے آرہي ہيں اور اقليتوں کو مايوس کن حالات ميں دھکيلا جارہاہے، کميشن نے مطالبہ کيا کہ حکومت اپني ذمہ داري کا احساس کرے اور اقليتوں کي مشاورت سيان کي نقل مکاني کے اسباب کا ازالہ کياجائے. گھوٹکي ميں پوليس نے چھاپہ مار کر زميندار کي نجي جيل سے جبري مشقت ميں قيد مرد خواتين اور بچوں سميت پندرہ افراد کو بازياب کرا ليا. ڈہرکي پوليس کے مطابق بيربل نامي شخص کي جانب سے دائر کردہ پٹيشن کے پيش نظر عدالتي حکم پر کھينجو کے علاقے ميں زميندار کي نجي جيل پر چھاپہ مار کر گذشتہ چار سالوں سے جبري مشقت ميں قيد،بچوں خواتين سميت 15 افراد کو بازياب کراليا ہے بازياب ہونے والے افراد نے بتايا کہ زميندار ان سے دن کو مشقت اور رات کو زنجيروں سے جکڑ کر رکھتے تھے ، رہائي پانے والے خاندان کو کل عدالت ميں پيش کيا جائے گا جبکہ زميندار فرار ہونے ميں کامياب ہو گيا.
