Hockey Champion Trophy: Pakistan beats Germany

(eNews.pk) - MELBOURNE: Pakistan defeated Germany in the first quarter-finals of the 34th Champions Trophy hockey here at the State Netball Hockey Centre on Thursday, Geo news.




Pakistan humiliated Germany 2-1, where Shakeel Abbasi scored both goals.
In the context of the three goals in as many outlets and nearly lost a dozen, Pakistan coaches worked all morning on Tuesday for players to realize their mistakes.
In the 27 games the two countries have played so far in the Champions Trophy, Germany has won 12 times against 10 victories won by Pakistan. Five matches ended in a draw.
