حکومت نے ملک بھر میں 24 برقی گاڑی چارجنگ پوائنٹس لگانے کا اعلان کیا
وفاقی وزیر بجلی ڈویژن عمر ایوب خان نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ حکومت کا ارادہ ہے کہ پورے پاکستان میں 24 الیکٹرک وہیکل چارجنگ پوائنٹس لگائیں۔
وزیر نے بتایا کہ حکومت فضائی آلودگی کو کم کرنے کے لئے مستحکم پالیسیاں اور حکمت عملی اپنائے ہوئے ہے۔ اسلام آباد میں پہلے الیکٹرک گاڑی چارجنگ اسٹیشن کا آغاز ایک خوش آئند اقدام ہے اور صاف اور گرین پاکستان کی سمت ایک اہم اقدام ہے۔ مستقبل میں کم از کم چوبیس نئے الیکٹرک اسٹیشن قائم کیے جائیں گے ، جس سے ملک کے عام لوگوں کی مدد ہوگی۔
وزیر موصوف نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ یہ کہا گیا ہے کہ مستقبل میں عوام کو برقی گاڑیوں کا انتخاب کرنے کی ترغیب دینے کے لئے یہ اقدامات اٹھائے جارہے ہیں ، برقی گاڑیوں کے استعمال کو عام کرنے کے لئے فضائی آلودگی کو کم کیا جا.۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ منصوبہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے صاف ستھرا اور گرین پاکستان وژن کو عملی شکل دینے کے لئے ہے۔
وزیر نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ حکومت کی جانب سے توانائی کے شعبے کی ترقی کے لئے مختلف اقدامات کیے جارہے ہیں۔ وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے پٹرولیم ، ندیم بابر نے بھی اس مباحثے میں حصہ لیا اور کہا کہ اسلام آباد میں جناح ایوینیو میں چارجنگ پوائنٹ کا حالیہ افتتاح پاکستان میں مستقبل میں نقل و حمل کے مستقبل کے طور پر برقی گاڑیوں کے استعمال کی حوصلہ افزائی میں بھی کردار ادا کرے گا۔
حکومت ملک میں ماحول دوست گاڑیوں کی ثقافت کو یقینی بنانے کی کوششوں کو تیزی سے دیکھ رہی ہے کیونکہ پٹرولیم سیکٹر میں یورو 5 ایندھن کی درآمد سے متعلق کچھ حالیہ پیشرفت بھی دیکھنے میں آئی ہے۔ وقت اور وسائل کے حوالے سے آلودگی کو کم کرنے میں یہ کوششیں کتنی کارآمد ہوسکتی ہیں ، دیکھنا باقی ہے۔
Federal Minister for Energy Division Umar Ayub Khan told the media that the government is planning to install 24 charging stations for electric vehicles across Pakistan.
The minister said the government is applying firm policies and strategies to reduce air pollution. “The launch of the first charging station for electric vehicles in Islamabad is a welcome initiative and an important step in the direction of clean and green Pakistan. In the future, at least twenty-four new power plants will be built that will help ordinary people in the country, ”added Omar.
The minister also said that these steps are being taken to encourage the masses to choose electric vehicles in the future, to normalize the use of electric vehicles and to reduce air pollution. He added that this plan should accelerate Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision for a clean and green Pakistan.
The minister also said that the government is taking various steps to develop the energy sector. Prime Minister Nadeem Babar, petroleum special assistant, also took part in the discussion, saying that the recent inauguration of a charging station on Jinnah Avenue in Islamabad will also play a role in promoting the use of electric vehicles as the future of transport in Pakistan.
The government is accelerating efforts to develop an environmentally friendly vehicle culture in the country, as there have recently been some developments in the petroleum sector related to the import of EURO 5 fuel. It remains to be seen how effective these efforts can be in reducing pollution in terms of time and resources.
