Jonathan Trott has been named England batting coach for the next three Test series against Pakistan.
The 39-year-old made his international debut in the Ashes 2009 series with a century debut. He continued to play 52 Tests and scored 3,835 runs at an average of 44.08 with the help of nine centuries and 15 half-centuries.
Trott presents impressive statistics against Pakistan. He played seven Tests against the subcontinent from 2010 to 2012 and scored 565 runs at an average of 47.07.
The three Tests between hosts England and Pakistan begin on August 5 in Manchester.
