Punjab School Education Department has announced the December Exams Schedule in a meeting held recently, for all government sector schools across the province. The December Exams are introduced as 9-month Exams.
Due to closure of schools amid COVID-19 pandemic the December Exams will be held in February and annual exams are scheduled for end of April. Only objective type exams will be conducted in February. The government has also decided to train the teachers online in this regard.
The policy for the promotion of the students was also discussed in the meeting of the Punjab School Education Department. According to this promotion policy students will be promoted to next classes on the basis of 50 percent marks in homework and 50 percent marks in Examinations.
پنجاب میں دسمبر کے امتحانات کے شیڈول کا اعلان
پنجاب اسکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ نے صوبہ بھر کے تمام سرکاری اسکولوں کے لئے حال ہی میں منعقدہ ایک میٹنگ میں دسمبر کے امتحانات کے شیڈول کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ دسمبر کے امتحانات نویں مہینے کے امتحانات کے طور پر متعارف کروائے جاتے ہیں۔
کوویڈ-19 وبائی امراض کے دوران اسکولوں کی بندش کی وجہ سے دسمبر کے امتحانات فروری میں ہوں گے اور سالانہ امتحانات اپریل کے آخر میں ہوں گے۔ فروری میں صرف معروضی قسم کے امتحانات ہوں گے۔ حکومت نے اس ضمن میں اساتذہ کو آن لائن تربیت دینے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا ہے۔
محکمہ پنجاب ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے اجلاس میں طلباء کو پروموٹ کرنے کے لئے پالیسی پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ اس پروموشن پالیسی کے مطابق طلباء کو ہوم ورک میں 50 فیصد اور امتحانات میں 50 فیصد نمبر کی بنیاد پر اگلی کلاسوں میں پروموٹ کیا جائے گا۔
