عدالتیں کسی ادارے کے دباؤ میں نہیں ہیں، چیف جسٹس
The Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Supreme Court, Gulzar Ahmed, denied the notion of institutional pressure on the judiciary.
Addressing the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore, the Chief Justice of Pakistan said that the impression that the courts are not independent and work under pressure from the institutions is not correct, we are bound by an oath, I have never received no pressure from any institution. I never listened to anyone, no one guided me and I did not dictate how to write my decision, I never made a decision on anyone’s request and no one has dared to tell me anything to this day.
The Chief Justice said that no one has ever interfered in my work, I have always made decisions in accordance with justice and conscience. Do not generate misunderstandings between people, do not create chaos and do not lose trust in the institutions, tell us whose dictation has been decided?
Justice Gulzar Ahmed said that all the justices of the Supreme Court, the higher courts and the lower courts have been working hard to bring justice to the people. I will not take the dictate of, my court gives justice to the people, the courts are working according to justice and they are free to decide what they want.
Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmad expressed his anger at Ali Ahmad Kurd and offered to read the court rulings. “We work and will continue to work without pressure. The rule of law in Pakistan is not for human beings. We will continue to support the constitution, law and democracy in the country.
پاکستان کی سپریم کورٹ کے چیف جسٹس گلزار احمد نے عدلیہ پر ادارہ جاتی دباؤ کے تصور کی تردید کی۔
لاہور میں عاصمہ جہانگیر کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے چیف جسٹس پاکستان نے کہا کہ یہ تاثر درست نہیں کہ عدالتیں آزاد نہیں اور اداروں کے دباؤ میں کام کرتی ہیں، ہم حلف کے پابند ہیں، مجھے کبھی کسی ادارے کا دباؤ نہیں آیا۔ . میں نے کبھی کسی کی بات نہیں سنی، کسی نے میری رہنمائی نہیں کی اور میں نے یہ حکم نہیں دیا کہ اپنا فیصلہ کیسے لکھوں، میں نے کبھی کسی کے کہنے پر فیصلہ نہیں کیا اور آج تک کسی نے مجھے کچھ بتانے کی جرات نہیں کی۔
چیف جسٹس نے کہا کہ میرے کام میں کبھی کسی نے مداخلت نہیں کی، میں نے ہمیشہ انصاف اور ضمیر کے مطابق فیصلے کیے ہیں۔ لوگوں میں غلط فہمیاں پیدا نہ کریں، انتشار نہ پھیلائیں اور اداروں سے اعتماد نہ اٹھیں، بتائیں کس کی ڈکٹیشن پر فیصلہ ہوا؟
جسٹس گلزار احمد نے کہا کہ سپریم کورٹ، اعلیٰ عدالتوں اور نچلی عدالتوں کے تمام ججز عوام کو انصاف دلانے کے لیے سخت محنت کر رہے ہیں۔ میں ڈکٹیٹ نہیں لوں گا، میری عدالت عوام کو انصاف دیتی ہے، عدالتیں انصاف کے مطابق کام کر رہی ہیں اور وہ جو چاہیں فیصلہ کرنے میں آزاد ہیں۔
چیف جسٹس گلزار احمد نے علی احمد کرد پر برہمی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے عدالتی فیصلے پڑھنے کی پیشکش کی۔ “ہم کام کرتے ہیں اور بغیر دباؤ کے کام کرتے رہیں گے۔ پاکستان میں قانون کی حکمرانی انسانوں کے لیے نہیں ہے۔ ہم ملک میں آئین، قانون اور جمہوریت کی حمایت جاری رکھیں گے۔ ہم کسی بھی جمہوریت مخالف ترتیب کو قبول نہیں کریں گے۔”
