Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that a year of military siege had passed in illegally occupied Indian Kashmir, but the Kashmiri’s misery had not been alleviated.

In his message about Youm-e-Istehsal, he said that the world could not endure a few months of coronavirus closure while Kashmiris have long languished under brutal Indian military sieges.

The international community’s silence against intolerable brutality against the Kashmiris was unfortunate, he claimed.

The CM was confident that the Kashmiris ‘patience and commitment were intact even in the prevailing difficulties, and the international community had also recognized the Kashmiris’ just struggle for freedom.

He reaffirmed that Pakistan would not withdraw from the Kashmiris’ fair demand for self-determination, given that the Kashmir issue had become a huge humanitarian crisis that spoke volumes about the indifference of the international community.

“Although the world remains silent about Indian atrocities against Kashmiris, Pakistan would continue to stand with its Kashmiri brothers with full zeal and strength,” he said.

India will have to repay any crime against the Kashmiris, and their struggle for freedom will take place soon, the CM added.
