The chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, said at a press conference on Friday that Prime Minister Imran Khan should step down immediately since he and his government were unable to control the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
He accused the federal government of harming the Sindh government’s efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic. “The PTI ministers criticized the Prime Minister of Sindh for trying to curb the spread of the virus, adding that” the government has opened the Pakistani border to Iran, but the government of Baluchistan has not received any instruments to stop the virus from spreading .
He said, “They also dropped the Punjab government by not warning them of the Raiwind Ijtima. They took no practical steps to protect the participants and no longer helped the provinces track down the participants, he noted.
The PPP president also accused the government of failing to provide protective equipment to health professionals involved in the fatal disease.

پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی (پی پی پی) کے چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری نے جمعہ کے روز ایک پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر اعظم عمران خان کو فوری طور پر استعفیٰ دینا چاہئے کیونکہ وہ اور ان کی حکومت ملک میں کورونا وائرس وبائی مرض پر قابو پانے میں ناکام رہی ہے۔
انہوں نے وفاقی حکومت کو کورونا وائرس وبائی مرض سے لڑنے کے لئے سندھ حکومت کی کوششوں کو نقصان پہنچانے کا الزام لگایا۔
پیپلز پارٹی کے صدر نے حکومت پر یہ بھی الزام لگایا کہ وہ مہلک بیماری سے نمٹنے والے صحت کی دیکھ بھال کرنے والے پیشہ ور افراد کو حفاظتی سامان فراہم کرنے میں ناکام ہے۔
