نیب کے حکومت کے خلاف کچھ نہ کرنے کے الزامات بے بنیاد ہیں، چیئرمین نیب
Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has said that it is 100% wrong to talk about selective accountability because such accountability has never happened in the past and never happened. Allegations of NAB doing nothing against the government are baseless.
A meeting of Public Accounts Committee was held under the chairmanship of Rana Tanveer Hussain in which Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal participated.
Chairman PAC told the audit officials that you have given a clean chit to NAB for four years. Regularize the money, why the supplementary grant was taken, if its finance did not allow then why it was taken.
NAB officials said that our grant was Rs 3.30 billion and this year the grant was taken due to increase in salaries. Chairman NAB said that the government of Pakistan approved, the salaries of the employees were increased and it was paid.
Later, the chairman NAB told the media that if he could not satisfy the PAC with the performance of NAB, he would go home.
The journalist asked what happened to the flour and wheat scandal. Chairman NAB replied that Atta Ghee sugar scandal did not come to NAB, FIA has it. چیئرمین نیب جسٹس (ر) جاوید اقبال نے کہا ہے کہ سلیکٹیو احتساب کی بات کرنا سو فیصد غلط ہے کیونکہ ایسا احتساب ماضی میں نہ ہوا اور نہ کبھی ہوا۔ نیب کے حکومت کے خلاف کچھ نہ کرنے کے الزامات بے بنیاد ہیں۔
پبلک اکاؤنٹس کمیٹی کا اجلاس رانا تنویر حسین کی زیر صدارت ہوا جس میں چیئرمین نیب جاوید اقبال نے شرکت کی۔
چیئرمین پی اے سی نے آڈٹ حکام سے کہا کہ آپ نے نیب کو چار سال سے کلین چٹ دی ہے۔ رقم ریگولرائز کریں، سپلیمنٹری گرانٹ کیوں لی گئی، اگر اس کی فنانس نے اجازت نہیں دی تو کیوں لی۔
نیب حکام نے بتایا کہ ہماری گرانٹ 3.30 ارب روپے تھی اور اس سال گرانٹ تنخواہوں میں اضافے کی وجہ سے لی گئی۔ چیئرمین نیب نے کہا کہ حکومت پاکستان نے منظوری دی، ملازمین کی تنخواہیں بڑھا کر ادا کر دی گئیں۔
بعد ازاں چیئرمین نیب نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگر وہ پی اے سی کو نیب کی کارکردگی سے مطمئن نہ کر سکے تو گھر چلے جائیں گے۔
صحافی نے سوال کیا کہ آٹا اور گندم سکینڈل کا کیا ہوا؟ چیئرمین نیب نے جواب دیا کہ آٹا گھی چینی سکینڈل نیب کے پاس نہیں آیا، ایف آئی اے کے پاس ہے۔ ان سے پوچھیں، نیب کے حکومت کے خلاف کچھ نہ کرنے کے الزامات بے بنیاد ہیں، کیا سبطین خان کے خلاف کیس کسی کو نظر آتا ہے۔ بی آر ٹی، مالم جبہ، بلین ٹری منصوبے زیر تفتیش ہیں۔ بی آر ٹی پر سوال کرنے سے پہلے پشاور ہائی کورٹ کا فیصلہ پڑھ لیں۔ سپریم کورٹ نے بلین ٹری سے متعلق کارروائی روک دی ہے۔
صحافی نے سوال کیا کہ اپوزیشن ان سے مطمئن نہیں۔ اس پر چیئرمین نیب نے کہا کہ جن کے خلاف مقدمات ہیں صرف چند لوگ مطمئن نہیں ہیں۔
