In the upcoming 2020-2021 budget, a 20% increase in government employees’ salaries and pensions was recommended.
According to the details, allocation of additional Rs. 142 billion for salaries and pensions was proposed, while the allocation of Rs. 299 billion and Rs. 503 billion are taken into account for salaries and pensions, respectively.
It is proposed to increase the salaries of Class I employees to Class 22 employees. A proposal to include the ad hoc aid fund for Ministry of Finance employees for 2016-2019 in their wages is also being considered
Sources added that civilian and military officials in grades 21 and 22 are increasing their salaries in the last household, and their salaries have not increased.

آئندہ 2020۔2021 کے بجٹ میں سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہوں اور پنشن میں 20 فیصد اضافے کی سفارش کی گئی ہے۔
تفصیلات کے مطابق ، اضافی روپے کے لئے مختص تنخواہوں اور پنشنوں کے لئے 142 ارب کی تجویز دی گئی ہے ، جب کہ 8 ارب روپے مختص ہیں۔ 299 ارب روپے اور 503 ارب بالترتیب تنخواہوں اور پنشن کے لئے رکھنے پر غور کیا جارہا ہے۔
گریڈ 1 کی گریڈ 22 کے ملازمین کی تنخواہوں میں اضافہ کی تجویز ہے۔ ذرائع نے بتایا کہ وزارت خزانہ کے ملازمین کی تنخواہ کا حصہ برائے 2016-2019ء کے لئے ایڈہاک ریلیف فنڈ بنانے کی تجویز پر بھی غور کیا جائے گا۔
بذرائع نے مزید کہا کہ آخری بجٹ میں گریڈ 21 اور گریڈ 22 کے سول اور ملٹری افسران ان کی تنخواہوں میں اضافہ نہیں کیا گیا تھا اس لیے اس بار ان کی تنخواہوں میں اضافہ کیا جائے گا ،
