US waiting for Pakistan's stance

(eNews.pk) - WASHINGTON: United States is waiting for conclusion of Pakistan parliamentary debate regarding resumption of talks between the two countries, according to the US State Department.




During a daily press briefing here on Wednesday, the state department's spokesperson Victoria Nuland said that President Obama spoke to the relationship during his meeting with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
She said " Our contacts have continued all the way through this. So - but in terms of where we go from here, we're going to wait until the Pakistani side finishes its internal debate and then we will look forward to consulting with them on the results.








پاکستان سے تعلقات کيلئے پارليماني بحث کے ختم ہونے کا انتظار ہے،امريکا


واشنگٹن…امريکا نے کہا ہے کہ پاک امريکہ تعلقات کے حوالے سے جاري پاکستاني پارليماني بحث کے ختم ہونے کا انتظار ہے ، اس کے بعد ہي نتائج کو مدنظر رکھ کوئي قدم اٹھايا جائے گا .امريکي محکمہ خارجہ کي ترجمان وکٹوريہ نولينڈ نے روزانہ کي ہونيوالي بريفنگ ميں صحافي نے سوال کيا کہ کيا پاکستاني حکام سے ہونيوالي ملاقاتوں کے حوالے سے يہ اخذ کيا جاسکتا ہے کہ پاک امريکہ تعلقات کے بارے ميں بات چيت دوبارہ شروع ہوگئي ہے اور اک امريکہ تعلقات ميں آنے والا تعطل ختم ہوگيا ہے . اس کے جواب ميں وکٹوريہ نولينڈ کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم پاک امريکہ تعلقات کے بارے ميں پاکستاني پارليمنٹ ميں جاري بحث کے نتائج کا انتظار کررہے ہيں جس کے بعد ہي کوئي پيش رفت ممکن ہوسکے گي .
