Umpires suspended until investigation is completed

(eNews.pk) - COLOMBO: Cricket authorities on Wednesday suspended six judges at the center of claims of Indian television program that could be bribed to make a favorable decision during the game.




Secret investigation by India TV channel reportedly found that judges, including one on the international circuit, were willing to give biased decisions or provide confidential information in return for payment.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced after the meeting hinges in Colombo, where the hosts West Indies beat Sri Lanka in the final of the World Twenty20 tournament on Sunday.
