(eNews.pk) - Najam Sethi said that the new chairman will be accountable to the PCB, good activities to ensure continuity decided to become a member of the Governing Board. نجم سیٹھی نے کہا ہے کہ نئے چیئرمین پی سی بی کو ہرمعاملے پر جوابدہ ہونا پڑے گا،اچھی سرگرمیوں کا تسلسل یقینی بنانے کیلیے گورننگ بورڈ کا رکن بننے کا فیصلہ کیا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق حال ہی میں مستعفی ہونے والے چیئرمین پی سی بی نجم سیٹھی نے ایک انٹرویو میں کہا کہ عہدہ سنبھالنے کے بعد بار بار یہ بات دہرائی تھی کہ اپنی میڈیا کی مصروفیات کو ترجیح دیتا ہوں، وزیر اعظم کی طرف سے جو ٹاسک ملا اسے مکمل کرتے ہی چلا جاؤں گا، عدالتی معاملات آڑے نہ آتے تو میں کافی عرصے قبل ہی بورڈ کی سربراہی چھوڑ چکا ہوتا تاہم اب مناسب وقت پر فیصلہ کیا، اچھی سرگرمیوں کا تسلسل جاری رکھنے کیلیے گورننگ بورڈ کا رکن بنا ہوں، پی سی بی کا نیا آئین جمہوری تقاضوں کے عین مطابق ہے۔ نئے چیئرمین کو اپنے اقدامات کیلیے جوابدہ ہونا پڑے گا، کسی بھی معاملے میں فیصلے کے حوالے ان سے بات کرینگے، اگر رضا مند ہوئے تو بات آگے بڑھائیں گے، اگر ایسا نہ ہوا تو دلائل سے سمجھانے کی کوشش کرینگے،جواب میں اگر ان کی بات میں وزن ہوا توہم سپورٹ کرینگے۔
