Syrian Gen, soldiers defect to Turkey

(eNews.pk) - Ankara. Dozens of Syrian troops, including senior officers defected to neighboring Turkey on Monday, the Anatolia news agency reported, AFP reported.




The 85 soldiers who fled the senior officials include one general and others, the agency said, citing local officials.
The latest defections bring to 14 the number of Syrian generals have entered Turkey, the abandonment of the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The last group of soldiers crossed the border into Turkey in Reyhanli, in the south. They were among a group of 293 people including many women and children.

انقرہ. . . .شام کي فوج کے ايک جنرل اور کئي اعلي? افسروں سميت 85فوجي شامي حکومت کا ساتھ چھوڑ کر ترکي پہنچ گئے.ترکي کي خبر ايجنسي کے مطابق شام سے گزشتہ روز 293افراد ترکي پہنچے جن ميں شام کي فوج کے ايک جنرل اور کئي افسروں سميت 85فوجي شامل تھے.شام ميں حکومت مخالفين کے خلاف گزشتہ ايک سال سے سيکيورٹي فورسز کي کارروائياں جاري ہيں اور اب تک شام کے 14جرنيل اور درجنوں فوجي شامي حکومت کا ساتھ چھوڑ کر ترکي آچکے ہيں.اس کے علاوہ شامي شہريوں کي ہجرت کا سلسلہ بھي جاري ہے.شام کے تقريباً 35ہزار افراد ترکي ميں پناہ گزين ہيں.
