The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported that weekly inflation based on the Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the combined consumer group week ended April 23 rose 0.62%.

The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the reporting week in the above group was 125.93 points compared to 125.16 points in the previous week.

The weekly Sensitive Price Indicator with the base year 2015-16 = 100 covers 17 urban centers and 51 essential items for all expenditure groups.

The SPI for the lowest consumption group up to Rs 17,732 decreased 0.91% and rose from 130.14 points last week to 131.32 points in the reporting week.

The sensitive price indicator for the consumption groups of Rs. 17,733-22,888, Rs. 22,889-29,517, Rs. 29,518-44,175 and more Rs 44,175 per month increased by 0.82%, 0.72%, 0.68% and 0 respectively , 52%.

During the week, prices for 12 items decreased, 14 items decreased, while 25 items remained constant.

Items that saw a decrease in average prices included tomatoes, eggs, grams of legumes, masoor legumes, liquefied gas cylinders, mash legumes, moong legumes, cooking oil, vegetable ghee (tin), wheat flour, vegetable ghee (loose), and sugar.

Raw materials, whose average prices rose, included potatoes, onions, bananas, chicken, garlic, milk (fresh), rice (Irri-6/9), quark, gur, rice (broken Basmati), mutton, beef, mustard oil and Firewood.

The prices of the items for which no price change was found in the reporting week included bread, milk (in powder form), salt, chili peppers, tea (packets), boiled beef, boiled daal, tea (prepared), cigarettes, long cloth, shirt , Lawn, georgette, men’s sandal, men’s sponge Chappal, women’s sandal, electricity costs, gas fees, energy saving, washing soap, matchbox, petrol, diesel, telephone call fees and toilet soap.

This increase was mainly due to an increase in the price of foods such as potatoes (24.75%), onions (9.39%), bananas (4.72%), chicken (4.68%), garlic (2.65%) and Fresh milk (1.33%) attributable. , Rice Irri (1.15%) and curd cheese (1.12%) with a combined influence of 0.86 on the total SPI for the combined group of (0.62%), according to the PBS analysis.

سب سے کم کھپت والے گروپ کے لئے ایس پی آئی میں 17،732 روپے تک 0.91 فیصد کی کمی ریکارڈ کی گئی اور وہ گذشتہ ہفتہ میں 130.14 پوائنٹس سے بڑھ کر 131.32 پوائنٹس پر آگیا۔

ہفتے کے دوران 12 اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں کمی ، 14 اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں کمی جبکہ 25 اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں استحکام رہا۔

جن اشیاء کی اوسط قیمتوں میں اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا ان میں آلو ، پیاز ، کیلے ، مرغی ، لہسن ، دودھ (تازہ) ، چاول ، دہی ، گڑ ، چاول (باسمتی ٹوٹا) ، مٹن ، گائے کا گوشت ، سرسوں شامل ہیں۔

جائزہ کے تحت ہفتہ کے دوران ان اشیاء کی قیمتوں میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں ہوئی جس میں روٹی ، دودھ (پاؤڈر) ، نمک ، مرچ ، چائے (پیکٹ) ، پکا ہوا گوشت ، پکا ہوا دال ، چائے (تیار) ، سگریٹ ، لمبا کپڑا ، شرٹنگ ، لان ، جارجیٹ ، جینٹس سینڈل ، جینٹس اسپنج چیپل ، لیڈی سینڈل ، بجلی کے چارجز ، گیس چارجز ، انرجی سیور ، واشنگ صابن ، میچ باکس ، پٹرول ، ڈیزل ، ٹیلیفون کال چارجز اور ٹوائلٹ صابن۔
