SC orders payment of salaries to LHWs

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has issued guidelines to the competent authorities to release three outstanding wages to Lady Health Workers (LHW) before Eid-ul-Fitr and requested a response from the federal and provincial governments in relation the regularization of their services.




A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry Muhammd heard the case regarding the regularization of services of health workers.
Attorney General said the CJ a summary of the regularization of LHWs had been referred to the Prime Minister.

اسلام آباد…سپريم کورٹ نے ليڈي ہيلتھ ورکرز کو واجب الادا 3 تنخواہيں عيد سے پہلے دينے کا حکم ديا ہے جب کہ انہيں ريگولر کرنے سے متعلق وفاق اور صوبوں سے ايک روز ميں جواب طلب کرليا ہے. چيف جسٹس افتخار محمد چودھري کي سربراہي ميں تين رکني بنچ نے ليڈي ہيلتھ ورکرز کو مستقل کرنے کے بارے ميں کيس کي سماعت کي. ڈپٹي اٹارني جنرل نے عدالت کو بتايا کہ ليڈي ہيلتھ ورکرز کو ريگولر کرنے کي سمري وزيرا عظم کو بھجوادي گئي ہے.چيف جسٹس نے ريمارکس ديئے کہ ليڈي ہيلتھ ورکرز کو تين ماہ سے تنخواہوں کي ادائيگي نہيں ہوئي، عيد سے پہلے تينوں تنخواہوں کي ادائيگي يقيني بنائي جائے.
