No decision on NWA operation Yet: Rehman Malik

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik Wednesday informed the Senate that the government has not yet decided to launch a military operation in North Waziristan.




"At the moment, there is no such plan of military operation in North Waziristan. But if necessary, the decision will be taken by the political and military leaders of the country," he said speaking on a point of order.
He said the government is committed to take action against the terrorists, "we will eliminate terrorism from our soil and take action against terrorists wherever they are found anywhere in the country."
The minister said he has announced Rs.100 million reward for Ihsanullah Ihsan TTP spokesman.
He said anyone who provide tip leading to the arrest of Ihsanullah Ihsan or kill him would deposit the cash amount.
Malik said there are reports that the TTP Hakimullah Mehsud was planning to replace with Maulana Fazlullah as the head of the militant team.
He said those involved in the attack have nothing Malala Yusufzai to do with Islam and humanity.
"They are the enemies of Islam and Pakistan," Malik said.

اسلام آباد … وفاقی وزیر داخلہ رحمان ملک نے کہا ہے کہ شمالی وزیرستان میں آپریشن کا فیصلہ نہیں ہوا ہے، یہ معاملہ عسکری و سیاسی قیادت پر چھوڑ دینا چاہئے۔ ان کا کہنا ہے کہ تحریک طالبان بکھر چکی ہے، اس کے پاس کوئی قیادت نہیں، آج بھی حکیم اللہ محسود کو آواز دی کہ وہ کہاں ہے۔ سینیٹ کے اجلاس میں بیان اور پارلیمنٹ ہاوٴس کے باہر میڈیا سے گفتگو میں رحمان ملک کاکہناتھاکہ کہیں حکیم اللہ محسود کو اس کے کسی اپنے نے ہی تو نہیں ختم کردیا ہے۔ رحمان ملک نے کہا کہ ظالمان کی مدد کرنے والوں کے نام سامنے آنے چاہئیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بلوچستان کے حوالے سے آئندہ 3 سے 4 ماہ بہت اہم ہیں۔ چیئرمین سینیٹ براہمداغ بگٹی اور حربیار مری سے مذاکرات کیلئے 5 رکنی کمیٹی تشکیل دیں، بلوچستان میں قومی پرچم کو ماننے والوں سے بات چیت کیلئے تیار ہیں، بلوچستان میں 127 افراد لاپتہ ہیں۔ رحمان ملک نے بتایا کہ تمام صوبوں سے پولیس مقابلوں کی تفصیلات طلب کرلی ہیں اور اس حوالے سے شکایات کے ازالے کیلئے جوڈیشل کمیشن بنانے کی تجویز ہے۔
