LAHORE: Police have arrested a group of bandits who stole a Sikh family of thousands of rupees in cash, mobile phones and other valuables, Geo news.
DPO Nankana Sahib Ghulam Mubashir told a press conference that was looted Sikh family while they were on their way home back to Lahore in a taxi after attending ceremonies in connection with the birth of Guru Baba Nanak in Nankana Sahib.
He said the taxi in which Hardiyal Singh Sardar and his family were traveling was intercepted by armed horsemen near Pipalwala derivation. The thieves ransacked the family and fled the scene.
The police officer told reporters that the police registered a case and arrested the taxi driver who later confessed his complicity in the theft. He said police arrested three robbers who were identified as Zulfiqar Zulfi alias, alias Munir Attaullah and Muniro and recovered the money and other valuables for safekeeping.
He said the recovered money and other things were back to Sikh family.

لاہور. . .. .ننکانہ صاحب میں بابا گورونانک کے جنم دن کی تقریبات میں شرکت کے بعدلاہورواپس آئے ہوئے پاکستانی سکھ فیملی کوڈاکووٴں نے مانگٹانوالہ کے قریب لوٹ لیا۔پولیس نے ٹیکسی ڈرائیور کو گرفتار کرکے واردات کا سراغ لگا لیااور لوٹا ہوا سامان برآمد کرلیا۔ڈی پی او ننکانہ غلام مبشرمیکن نے پریس کانفرنس میں بتایا کہ پاکستان گوردوارہ پربندھک کمیٹی کے سابق پردھان سردار بشن سنگھ کے بھائی سردار ہردیال سنگھ ایک ٹیکسی کارمیں فیملی کے ہمراہ ننکانہ صاحب سے لاہور آ رہے تھے۔ مانگٹانوالہ میں پیپل والا بائی پاس پہنچے توموٹر سائیکل سوار3ڈاکووٴں نے فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے ان سے ہزاروں روپے نقد،موبائل فون اور دیگر سامان لوٹ لیا۔پولیس نے مقدمہ درج کرکے ٹیکسی ڈرائیوراصغرکو حراست میں لیا،تواس نے ڈکیتی کااعتراف کرلیا۔ملزم نے بتایاکہ موٹرسائیکل سوار اس کے ساتھی ہیں جن کے نام ذوالفقار عرف زلفی،منیر عرف منیرو اور عطاء اللہ ہیں۔پولیس نے لوٹا ہوا سامان برآمد کر کے سکھ یاتریوں کے حوالے کردیا ہے۔
