Killing sparks arson attacks in Karachi locality

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: The killing of a political activist Berzeta unleashed violence in the city town lines leading to heavy exchange of fire and arson attacks, Geo news reported Monday.




Correspondent says people unfamiliar set fire to a building with two floors, four stores, two vehicles and motorcycles.
Police and paramilitary troops were sent to the area to bring the situation under control. However, Geo news reporter Shoib Barni says that enforces the law became silent spectators and did nothing except put a bead at the point of entry and exit of the busiest streets located near Karachi Shahra-e-Faisal.
Later, a group of women took to the streets to protest the killing, suspending traffic and demand the arrest of the culprits.

کراچی …کراچی کے علاقے بزرٹا لائن میں فائرنگ سے ایک شخص کی ہلاکت کے بعد ہنگامہ آرائی کے دوران مشتعل افراد نے 2 منزلہ مکان، 4 دوکانوں،2 گاڑیوں اور موٹر سائیکل کو آگ لگادی، خواتین کا شا ہراہ فیصل پر احتجاج ٹریفک معطل ہو گئی۔تفصیلات کے مطابق کراچی کے علاقے بزرٹا لائن شاہراہ فیصل کے قریب سیاسی جماعت کے کارکن عبدلستار کی ہلاکت کے بعد علاقے میں کشیدگی پھیل گئی جس کے بعد مشتعل افراد نے علاقے میں ایک 2 منزلہ مکان،4 دوکانوں،2 گاڑیوں ،اور 2 موٹر سائیکلوں کو آگ لگادی اس دوران سلنڈر کا دھماکہ بھی ہوا۔جس کے بعد پولیس اور رینجرز کی نفری علاقے میں داخل ہو ئی اور فائر بریگیڈ کی دو گاڑیوں نے مکان،دُکان اور گا ڑیوں میں لگنے والی آگ کو بجھایا ۔ علا قے میں جلاوٴ گھیراوٴ کے خلاف خواتین و حضرات گھروں سے باہر نکل آئے اور شاہراہ فیصل پر احتجاج شروع کر دیا مظاہرین نے شاہراہ فیصل پر ٹائروں اور درخت کو آگ لگادی جس سے شاہراہ فیصل پر ٹریفک معطل ہو گیا۔ احتجاج کر نے والی خواتین کا کہنا ہے کہ پولیس ہلاک ہو نے والے شخص کے قاتلوں کو گرفتار کرے، بعد ازاں احتجاج کر نے والے افراد احتجاج کر کے منتشر ہو گئے جس کے بعد شاہراہ فیصل کو ٹریفک کے لیے کھو ل دی گئی۔
