Karachi: Two extortionists apprehended

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Police on Tuesday night arrested a couple of con artists who have participated in the extortion of their blood relations, Geo news.




According to reports, the citizen-police liaison committee of staff and Shahrah-e-Noor Jehan police station collared police of extortion in an attack carried out in North Nazimabad Block-Q zone.
Police also recovered guns, a stolen motorcycle, and an identity card of a deceased person to be identified as Arsalan blackmailers and Mussavir.
Apparently, the modus operandi of the fraudsters involved conducting threatening phone calls to family and scare them to cough to heavy amounts, which are received through "money transfer Easypaisa" through the identification card of a man who had died two years ago.
Scammers accused confessed their crimes on camera while talking to Geo news from behind bars in a police station jail.

کراچي …کراچي کے علاقے نارتھ ناظم آباد سے سي پي ايل سي اور پوليس نے مشترکہ کاروائي کر کے دو ايسے ملزمان کو گرفتار کيا جو اپنے رشتہ داروں کو دھمکي آميز فون کر کے بھتہ وصول کرتے تھے. پوليس کے مطابق شاہراہ نورجہاں پوليس اور سي پي ايل سي کي نارتھ ناظم آباد بلاک کيو ميں کاروائي کر کے دو ملزمان کو گرفتار کرليا ہے. گرفتار ملزمان کے نام ارسلان اور مصور ہيں جن کے قبضے سے اسلحہ چھيني گئي موٹر سائيکل اور ايک فوت ہوجانے والے شخص کا شناختي کارڈ ملا ہے. پوليس کے مطابق ملزمان اپنے رشتہ داروں کو دھمکي آميز فون کالز کر کے بھتہ وصول کرتے تھے.ملزمان بھتے کي رقم ، ايزي پيسہ کے ذريعے وصول کرتے تھے.جس شناختي کارڈ نمبر پر پيسے وصول کئے جاتے اس شخص کا انتقال دو سال پہلے ہوچکا ہے.ملزمان نے سات لوگوں کو دھمکي آميز فون کئے جبکہ دو سے پيسے بھي وصول کر لئے.گرفتار ملزمان نے جيو نيوز سے گفتگو ميں اپني وارداتوں کا اعتراف کيا ہے.
