کراچی چیمبر نے سندھ حکومت سے کاروباری اوقات بڑھانے کا مطالبہ کیا
Small traders are on hunger strike for their demands and they appealed to the Sindh government to continue business from Monday to Saturday and extend business hours till 10 pm. The Karachi Chamber expressed concern over the strike and the problems of traders.
Zubair Motiwala, chairman of the Businessmen Group, has said that the Sindh government should take pity on shopkeepers, restaurant and wedding hall owners. The Sindh Chief Minister, Local Government Minister, Information Minister, Sindh Industry Minister should immediately intervene in view of the gravity of the matter and issue orders to ease restrictions on business activities in Karachi.
He said that if the existing restrictions were maintained, many businesses would be wiped out forever, millions of people would die of poverty, hunger, unemployment and stress instead of dying of plague, Karachi in another province of the country, Sindh. ۔ And except Hyderabad, businesses are allowed to open overnight until 10 p.m.
Karachi Chamber of Commerce President Sharq Vehra said the government’s discrimination was creating a sense of deprivation in Karachi and Hyderabad.
چھوٹے تاجر اپنے مطالبات کے لیے بھوک ہڑتال پر ہیں اور انہوں نے سندھ حکومت سے پیر سے ہفتہ تک کاروبار جاری رکھنے اور کاروباری اوقات کو رات 10 بجے تک بڑھانے کی اپیل کی۔ کراچی چیمبر نے ہڑتال اور تاجروں کے مسائل پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا۔
بزنس مین گروپ کے چیئرمین زبیر موتی والا نے کہا ہے کہ سندھ حکومت دکانداروں ، ریسٹورنٹ اور شادی ہال مالکان پر ترس کھائے۔ وزیراعلیٰ سندھ ، وزیر بلدیات ، وزیر اطلاعات ، وزیر صنعت سندھ کو معاملے کی سنگینی کو دیکھتے ہوئے فوری طور پر مداخلت کرنی چاہیے اور کراچی میں کاروباری سرگرمیوں پر پابندیوں میں نرمی کے احکامات جاری کرنا چاہیے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر موجودہ پابندیاں برقرار رکھی گئیں تو بہت سے کاروبار ہمیشہ کے لیے ختم ہو جائیں گے ، لاکھوں لوگ طاعون سے مرنے کے بجائے غربت ، بھوک ، بے روزگاری اور تناؤ سے مر جائیں گے ، ملک کے دوسرے صوبے ، سندھ میں کراچی۔ اور حیدرآباد کو چھوڑ کر ، کاروبار رات بھر 10 بجے تک کھولنے کی اجازت ہے۔
کراچی چیمبر آف کامرس کے صدر شارق وہرا نے کہا کہ حکومت کی امتیازی سلوک کراچی اور حیدرآباد میں احساس محرومی پیدا کر رہا ہے۔
