Iran call Pakistan for Investment in Gas Pipeline

(eNews.pk) - Islamabad: Pakistan has offered to invest in Iran pipeline. The government expects to issue a tender for laying the pipeline in the next week.




Iranian Ambassador Ali Raza met Petroleum Asim Hussain Advisor in Islamabad.
According to sources from the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran's oil adviser asked the ambassador to Iran to participate in the construction of a gas pipeline in Pakistan.
According to officials from the Inter-state company's gas system are present in the negotiations, Iran was asked to help in the construction of a gas pipeline from the Iranian border. It is expected that construction of the pipeline will begin in December.
If you want to import 750 million cubic feet gas per day from Iran, Pakistan to ask 780 km pipeline, which is expected to cost, which is $ 1.5 billion, where as the source of this pipeline will start from December 2014.

اسلا م آباد…پاکستان نے ایران کو گیس پائپ لائن کی تعمیر میں سرمایہ کاری کی دعوت دے دی ہے، حکومت آئندہ ایک ہفتے میں گیس پائپ لائن بچھانے کیلئے ٹینڈر جاری کرسکتی ہے۔ ایران کے سفیر علی رضا نے اسلام آباد میں مشیر پٹرولیم ڈاکٹر عاصم حسین سے ملاقات کی ہے۔ وزارت پٹرولیم کے ذرائع کے مطابق مشیر پٹرولیم ڈاکٹر عاصم حسین نے ایرانی سفیر سے کہا کہ ایران پاکستان میں گیس پائپ لائن کی تعمیر میں حصہ لے۔ملاقات میں موجود انٹر اسٹیٹ گیس سسٹم کمپنی کے حکام کے مطابق ایران کوپیشکش کی گئی ہے کہ وہ ایرانی بارڈر کی طرف سے پائپ لائن کی تعمیر میں حصہ لے۔ حکام نے بتایا ہے کہ گیس کی تعمیر کیلیے اگلے ایک ہفتے میں ٹینڈرجاری کیے جانیکاامکان ہے اور دسمبر میں پائپ لائن کی تعمیر شروع ہونا متوقع ہے۔ ایران سے یومیہ 75کروڑ مکعب فٹ گیس کی درآمد کیلئے پاکستان کو 780کلو میٹر پائپ لائن بچھانا ہو گی جس پر لاگت کا تخمینہ ایک ارب 50کروڑ ڈالر تک ہے ، جبکہ پاکستان کو گیس کی فراہمی کا ہدف دسمبر 2014 تک مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔
