حکومت نے گوادر شپ یارڈ کے قیام کے لئے مفاہمت نامے پر دستخط کیے
The government has signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of Gwadar Shipyard.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between Balochistan Industries Secretary Hafiz Abdul Majeed and Additional Secretary Defense Production Ghulam Jaffer, while Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan and Federal Minister for Defense Production Zubeida Jalal attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Zubaida Jalal remarked that the federal and provincial governments were making joint efforts for the socio-economic development of Balochistan as Pakistan has an economic future in the province.
He added that the ships would be built in the courtyard and would provide training facilities as well as repair facilities in the region.
The Federal Minister said that this project is of great regional importance in strategic terms and its completion would create employment opportunities for the local people and increase the revenue generation for the provincial economy.
Although the first phase will involve the arrival of technical and administrative human resources from other parts of the country, locals will be trained and later recruited to change their positions at the shipyard, Jalal said.
He added, “The project office has been opened in Gwadar, and after completion of its feasibility study in two to three years, construction work on the project will begin.”
“The construction of Gwadar Shipyard will benefit the business community in general and Balochistan in general,” said Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan.
He announced that joint initiatives of the federal and provincial governments would usher in a new era of prosperity and economic development in the province.
“The provincial government is planning to promote tourism in Gwadar, jetty, fish processing units and other projects, while the shipyard project will not affect the population,” he added.

سیکرٹری صنعت بلوچستان حافظ عبدالمجید اور ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری دفاعی پیداوار غلام جعفر کے مابین مفاہمت نامے پر دستخط ہوئے ، جبکہ صوبائی وزیر اعلی میر جام کمال خان اور وفاقی وزیر دفاعی پیداوار زبیدہ جلال نے تقریب میں شرکت کی۔
اس موقع پر زبیدہ جلال نے خطاب کیا اور ریمارکس دیئے کہ وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتیں بلوچستان کی سماجی و معاشی ترقی کے لئے مشترکہ کوششیں کر رہی ہیں کیونکہ اس صوبے میں پاکستان کا معاشی مستقبل ہے۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ جہاز صحن میں تعمیر کیے جائیں گے اور اس سے تربیت کی سہولیات کے علاوہ خطے میں مرمت کی سہولیات بھی فراہم ہوں گی۔
وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ یہ منصوبہ اسٹریٹجک لحاظ سے بہت علاقائی اہمیت کا حامل ہے اور اس کی تکمیل کے بعد مقامی لوگوں کے لئے روزگار کے مواقع میسر آئیں گے اور اس سے صوبائی معیشت کے لئے آمدنی کی پیداوار میں اضافہ ہوگا۔
جلال نے کہا کہ اگرچہ پہلے مرحلے میں ملک کے دیگر علاقوں سے تکنیکی اور انتظامی انسانی وسائل کی آمد شامل ہوگی ، تاہم مقامی افراد کو تربیت دی جائے گی اور بعد میں شپ یارڈ میں اپنے عہدوں کو تبدیل کرنے کے لئے بھرتی کیا جائے گا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ، “گوادر میں پراجیکٹ کا دفتر کھولا گیا ہے ، اور دو سے تین سالوں میں اس کی فزیبلٹی اسٹڈی کی تکمیل کے بعد ، اس منصوبے کی تعمیر کا کام شروع کردیا جائے گا۔”
صوبائی وزیر اعلی جام کمال خان نے کہا ، “گوادر شپ یارڈ کی تعمیر سے تاجر برادری عام طور پر اور مجموعی طور پر بلوچستان کی آبادی کو فائدہ پہنچے گی۔”
انہوں نے اعلان کیا کہ وفاقی اور صوبائی حکومتوں کے مشترکہ اقدامات سے صوبے میں خوشحالی اور معاشی ترقی کے نئے دور کی شروعات ہوگی۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ، “صوبائی حکومت گوادر ، جیٹی ، فش پروسیسنگ یونٹوں اور دیگر منصوبوں میں سیاحت کو فروغ دینے کی منصوبہ بندی کر رہی ہے ، جبکہ شپ یارڈ منصوبے سے آبادی متاثر نہیں ہوگی۔”
