Four feared drowned as water floods underpass

(eNews.pk) - Faisalabad: At least three people gushing water from a nearby canal breach feared drowned after the waters under the underpass construction here in Faisalabad, Geo news reported.




Reports say that the authorities do not respond to any serious emergency.
Earlier, after fleeing from a channel filled with water unfinished subway hub for many hours, Abdullah Pur been filling have been reported in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the water level is rising at an alarming rate.
Some of those who reported illicit channels formed by the underpass under the frothing pool, whereas the three others remain yet unexplained, but not both, have been washed down into rescued in time.

فیصل آباد.... زیر تعمیر انڈس پاس میں واسا کی پائپ لائن پھٹنے سے پانی بھرگیا۔ لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ پانی میں تین افراد ڈوبے ہوئے ہیں ، لیکن انتظامیہ کچھ نہیں کررہی۔عبداللہ پور کے علاقے میں نہر کے دونوں اطرف انڈر پاس کی تعمیر جاری ہے۔ انڈر پاس سے گزرنے والا واسا کا پائپ گزشتہ رات پھٹ گیا اور نہر کا پانی انڈر پاس میں داخل ہوگیا۔ موقع پر موجود 2 افراد پانی میں گر گئے جنھیں ریسکیو عملے نے فوراً ہی نکال لیا۔ جبکہ مقامی افراد کا کہناہے کہ اب بھی تین لوگ پانی میں ڈوبے ہوئے ہیں جن کا پتا نہیں چل رہا اور انتظامیہ بھی کچھ نہیں کررہی۔دوسری جانب ڈی سی او محمد امین چوہدری جب موقع پر صوتحال کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے پہنچے تو لوگوں نے انھیں گھیرلیا اور زدوکوب کرنے کی کوشش کی۔ ادھر کمشنر فیصل آباد طاہر حسین کے مطابق نہر میں پانی کا بہاو¿ کم کرادیا گیا ہے۔ انڈر پاس کے اطراف بند باندھے جارہے ہیں۔
