(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Eid-ul-Fitr, is expected to fall on August 20 in Pakistan, Geo news.




According to Department of Meteorology, the first moon of Shawwal is expected to be visible on August 19 instead of 18, so that the Muslims of Pakistan is likely to have a 30-day Ramazan.
"The weather will be partly cloudy in the highlands that are very unlikely to see the moon," the officials interviewed said.
The position and angle of the new moon at the time of the sunset are also favorable for the sighting of the moon on that day, who said.
