(eNews.pk) - PESHAWAR: Alllama Sajid Naqvi, a leader of the revived Muttahida Majlis Amal (MMA) said on Sunday that efforts were made ​​to ensure the Jamat-e-Islami to woo the MMA to close, Geo news reported.




Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, he said that the JI had been part of the MMA and efforts will be made to return them, addressing their reservations.
The cleric said that the work on the implementation of end to the death penalty and into a life sentence in Pakistan was underway and that was contrary to the Constitution of the country. He vowed to block such a move.
Answering a question of public policy, he said that efforts were made ​​to ensure the enabling within the state. He said that the State had failed in protecting lives of citizens.

پشاور … ایم ایم اے کے قائم مقام صدر علامہ ساجد علی نقوی کا کہنا ہے کہ جماعت اسلامی متحدہ مجلس عمل کا حصہ تھی اور ان کے تحفظات ختم کر کے انہیں دوبارہ ایم ایم اے کا حصہ بنانے کی کوششیں کی جارہی ہے۔ پشاور میں پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے علامہ ساجد نقوی کا کہنا تھا کہ جماعت اسلامی کو ایم ایم اے کا حصہ بنانے کی کوشش کی جائے گی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ملک میں سزائے موت کے قانون کے خاتمے کیلئے کوششیں کی جارہی ہیں اور سزائے موت کے قیدیوں کی سزا کو عمر قید میں تبدیل کرنے کیلئے کام کیا جارہا ہے جو کہ آئین کی نفی ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ہر سطح پر اس کا راستہ روکا جائے گا۔ ملک میں امن و امان کی صورتحال کے حوالے سے ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ملک میں ریاست کے اندر ریاست قائم کرنے کی کوششیں جاری ہیں لیکن ریاست ان کو روکنے کیلئے ناکام ہے اور شہریوں کو تحفظ دینے میں ناکام ہے۔
