Ebad discusses factory case with president, pm

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad has contacted President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez, expressing concern at reports that the government dropped murder charges against the owners of a factory where the Baldia Town fire killed more than 250 people in the worst industrial fire incident in the country, Geo news.




The president assured the governor that all requirements of justice met during the course of the investigation into the incident.
The governor asked the prime minister that all constitutional and statutory requirements should be applied so that justice can be provided to victims.
He said that a case filed against the owners of the factory under Section 302 (premeditated murder) should not be withdrawn.

کراچی:…گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد خان نے بلدیہ ٹاؤن فیکٹری کیس کے حوالے سے صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری اور وزیر اعظم راجا پرویز اشرف سے ٹیلیفونک رابطہ کیا اور سانحہ بلدیہ ٹاؤن پر گفتگو کی۔ صدر نے گورنرسندھ کو بلدیہ ٹاوٴن فیکٹری کیس میں انصاف کے تقاضے پورے کرنیکی یقین دہانی کرادی۔ گورنرسندھ نے جیونیوزسے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ سانحہ بلدیہ ٹاوٴن میں جاں بحق افرادکاخون رائیگاں نہیں جائیگا،انہوں نے آئی جی سندھ کوہدایت کی کہ پرانے تفتیشی افسرکودوبارہ چارج دیدیں اور انصاف کیلئے تمام وسائل بروئے کارلاتے ہوئے میرٹ پرفیصلہ کیاجائے۔ قبل ازیں گورنرسندھ نے وزیر اعظم سے درخواست کی تھی کہ بلدیہ ٹاوٴن سانحے کے مقدمے میں تمام آئینی اور قانونی پہلووٴں کوپوراکیاجائے، قانونی تقاضے پورے ہونے سے سانحہ بلدیہ ٹاوٴن کے متاثرین کوانصاف مل سکے گا۔ گورنر سندھ نے مزید کہا کہ بلدیہ ٹاوٴن سانحے کے مقدمے سے قتل کی دفعات کونہ نکالاجائے۔ واضح رہے کہ وزیر اعظم کی ہدایت پر بلدیہ ٹاؤن فیکٹری کے مالکان کے خلاف دفعہ 302 کے تحت درج کیا گیا مقدمہ واپس لے لیا گیا ہے۔
