Dollar touches Rs 96 in open market

(eNews.pk) - KARACHI: The U.S. dollar hit Rs96 in the open market on Wednesday.




According currency dealers, despite the State Banks purchase of $ 50 million in the last five sessions, the dollar reached Rs95.95. As a result of the increase in interbank interest rates, the dollar again touched Rs96 in the open market after four months.
The U.S. dollar has seen an increase of Rs1.30 during the current financial year.

کراچی…انٹر بینک میں ڈالر تاریخ کی بلند ترین سطح پر بند ہونے کے باعث اوپن مارکیٹ میں یہ ایک بار پھر 96 روپے کی سطح پر آگیا۔فاریکس مارکیٹ ڈیلرز کے مطابق مرکزی بینک کی جانب سے گزشتہ 5 ٹریڈنگ سیشن میں تقریبا 50 کروڑ ڈالر کی خریداری کے باعث یہ 95 روپے 95 پیسے کی بلند ترین سطح پر پہنچ گیا۔انٹر بینک میں ڈالر کی قدر میں اضافے سے اوپن مارکیٹ میں ڈالر چار ماہ بعد ایک بار پھر 96 روپے کی سطح پر آگیا۔ڈیلرز کے مطابق رواں مالی سال کے آغاز سے اب تک انٹر بینک میں ڈالر کی قدر میں 1 روپے 30 پیسے کے قریب اضافہ دیکھا گیا ہے۔
