Chinese VP meets U.S. Secretary canceled

(eNews.pk) - Beijing: China's likely next president Xi Jinping has been canceled meeting visiting U.S. Secretary of State, the U.S. official said on Wednesday, in the midst of friction between the two global powers.




Hillary Clinton was scheduled to meet with Vice President Xi later Wednesday during a brief visit to Beijing that seems to dominate a number of territorial disputes between China and its neighboring countries, especially in the South China Sea.
"We were told after 23:00 last night, the Chinese side that the timing of the reasons for the unexpected meeting with Vice President Xi, and Secretary of State Clinton does not happen today," said the official, who requested anonymity.








امریکی وزیرخارجہ ہلیری کلنٹن کی چینی نائب صدر سے ملاقات منسوخ


بیجنگ… امریکی وزیر خارجہ ہلیری کلنٹن کی چین کے نائب صدر سے ملاقات منسوخ ہو گئی ہے،ایک امریکی اہلکار کا کہنا ہے کہ ملاقات دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان تناوٴ کی وجہ سے منسوخ ہوئی ہے۔ امریکی وزیر خارجہ ہلیری کلنٹن کی چین کے مختصر دورے میں آجژی جِن پنگ Jinping سے ملاقات ہونا تھی۔ ان کے دورے کا مقصد خاص طور پرچین اور اس کے ہمسایہ ملکوں کے درمیان تنازعات کا جائزہ لیناہے۔ بیجنگ میں ایک امریکی اہلکار نے کہا کہ رات ہمیں بتایا گیا ہے کہ غیر متوقع شیڈول کی وجہ سے نائب صدر اور وزیر خارجہ کے درمیان آج ملاقات نہیں ہوسکتی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سمجھ سکتے ہیں کہ چینی نائب صدر کی سنگاپور کے وزیر اعظم اور روسی حکام سے ملاقاتیں بھی منسوخ کردی گئی ہیں۔
