Charsadda Attack: ANP announces 10-day mourning

(eNews.pk) - PESHAWAR (Staff Report) - President Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan said Wednesday that his party will observe 10 days of mourning following the attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda.




Talking to reporters, the ANP leader said his party has also canceled the demonstration to be held on Thursday.
On the occasion strongly he condemned the terrorist attack in Charsadda university.
He urged political leadership to support military to begin a nationwide push against terrorism. He said that full implementation of the National Action Plan (PAN) was the only solution to the current tense situation.
Earlier this day, a group of about six terrorists attacked Bacha Khan University, Charsadda. There are reports of casualties and injured in the militant attack.

پشاور(مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) اے این پی کے سربراہ اسفند یار ولی خان نے باچا خان یونیورسٹی چارسدہ پر دہشتگردوں کے حملے کے بعد دس روزہ سوگ کا اعلان کیا ہے۔
عوامی نیشنل پارٹی کے سربراہ اسفند یار ولی خان نے ایک نجی ٹیلی ویژن چینل جیو نیوز سے بات کرتے ہوئے باچا خان یونیورسٹی پر حملے کے تناظر میں اپنی جماعت کی جانب سے دس دن کے سوگ کا اعلان کیا ہے اور کہا ہے کہ اے این پی کے تمام دفاتر میں 10 دن تک باچا خان یونیورسٹی کے شہدای¿ کیلئے قران خوانی کی جائے گی۔

انھوں نے کہا کہ مذمت کرنے سے کچھ نہیں ہوگا ہم آخر کب تک صرف مذمتیں ہی کرتے رہیں گے؟ صرف وزیرستان میں آپریشن سے کچھ نہیں ہوگا بلکہ دہشتگردی کے خاتمے کیلئے پورے ملک میں آپریشن کی ضرورت ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ قومی ایکشن پلان کے 20 نکات پر عمل نہیں ہو رہا اوراگر اب بھی ہم اگر سوئے رہے تو بہت دیر ہو جائے گی اور اس سے بھی بڑے بڑے حملوں کا خدشہ ہے۔
