Bannu old city police station attacked

(eNews.pk) - Bannu: unknown gunmen attacked the police station in Bannu old city, while on Monday morning the curfew has been imposed in the city, Geo news.




Police said some militants attacked the police station in the old town at 9:30 am with hand grenades and firing, while five gunmen also entered the building the police station and took several people hostage , including three policemen.
Because cross fire, there are reports of the victims.
DPO Waqar Ahmed said additional contingents of security forces have come to the site and sealed all entry and exit points. Curfew was also imposed in the city.
The area is of great importance as training officers and their offices are located in the same area where criminals are kept for investigation.
Fire continued until the final report was submitted.

بنوں… بنوں ميں پرانا سٹي پر شد ت پسندوں نے حملہ کردياہے.علاقہ دھماکوں اورفائرنگ کي آوازوں سے گونجتارہا. شہر ميں کرفيو نافذ کردياگياہے.بنوں ميں آج صبح ساڑھے نو بجے کے قريب 5 شدت پسندوں نے اچانک تھانہ پراناسٹي پوليس اسٹيشن پر حملہ کرديا اس موقع پر علاقہ فائرنگ اوردھماکوں کي آوازوں سے گونجتارہا.پوليس سے ملنے والي اطلاعات کے مطابق حملہ آورتھانے کي عمارت ميں داخل ہوگئے اوروہاں موجود 3اہلکاروں سميت متعدد افرادکو بھي يرغمال بنارکھاہے اس دوران دوطرفہ فائرنگ کے نتيجے ميں ايک شخص کي ہلاکت کي بھي اطلاع ہے.پوليس حکام کے مطابق واقعے کے بعد پوليس کي مدد کے لئے سيکيورٹي فورسز کے دستے بھي تھانے پر پہنچ گئے ہيں اور علاقے کے داخلي وخارجي راستوں کو سيل کردياگياہے اور ہرقسم کي آمدروفت بند کردي گئي ہے.تھانہ پراناپوليس اٹيشن ميں اب انويسٹي گيشن آفس کام کرتاہے جہاں تحقيقات کے لئے ملزمان کو رکھابھي جاتاہے اور پوليس کي رہائش کے لئے بھي چند کمرے بنے ہوئے ہيں.ڈي پي او وقار احمد کے مطابق شہر ميں کرفيو نافذ کردياگياہے.
