5 dead as plane makes emergency landing in Ukraine

(eNews.pk) - Donetsk, Ukraine: Five people were killed when an Antonov AN-24 aircraft with dozens of football fans on board made an emergency landing in the eastern city of Donetsk Ukraine on Wednesday, authorities said.




"Most of the survivors were able to leave the plane by themselves," the emergency ministry spokesman Svytlana Borodyna AFP, adding that there had been 44 people on board the aircraft operated by domestic airlines Yuzhne Avialinii.
