Jiyalas hurt journos on Chishti's return

(eNews.pk) - ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activists tried to jeopardize the coverage of Dr Khalil Chisti’s 20-year-long awaited homecoming from India by manhandling mediapersons at the Islamabad airport in a bid to steal the show by themselves, Geo news reported.




Reportedly, upon the arrival of Dr Chishti, most of Pakistan’s media were out there to be the first to beam the first glimpses of the great scientist to their viewers, but unfortunately the roughneck activists dashed their plans along with their cameras and other broadcasting paraphernalia.
The berserk 'Jiyalas' by tearing the clothes of a female journalist also proved they were absolutely not gender-biased at all.
The journalist bodies across Pakistan have strongly condemned the shameful behaviour of PPP workers.
