Efforts to eradicate polio require strong national commitment: Chief Minister Jam Kamal

پولیو کے خاتمے کی کوششوں کو مضبوط قومی عزم کی ضرورت ہے: وزیراعلی جام کمال

وزیر اعلی (سی ایم) بلوچستان جام کمال خان نے انسداد پولیو مہم کے خصوصی موقع کے موقع پر کہا کہ پولیو مہم کو کامیاب بناکر صوبے کا صحت مند مستقبل یقینی بنایا جاسکتا ہے۔

جام کمال خان نے کہا کہ پولیو مہم کی کامیابی والدین اور سول سوسائٹی کے تعاون کے بغیر ممکن نہیں ہوسکتی تھی ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ پچھلے کچھ مہینوں میں پولیو کیسز میں اضافہ تشویشناک ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ تمام متعلقہ اداروں کو اپنی کوتاہیوں اور کمزوریوں کا نوٹس لینا ہے اور ان کی اصلاح کرنا ہوگی۔ پولیو مہم کے دوران معاشرے کے بااثر طبقوں ، سیاسی اور قبائلی عمائدین کی خدمات بھی حاصل کی جائیں۔

وزیراعلیٰ بلوچستان نے کہا کہ پولیو ٹیموں تک تمام علاقوں اور ہر بچے تک رسائی کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔ ہمیں پولیو جیسی مہلک بیماری کے خاتمے کے لئے مضبوط قومی عزم کے ساتھ کام کرنا ہے۔ صرف پولیو کو شکست دے کر ہی ہم اپنے بچوں کو ایک محفوظ اور صحت مند مستقبل دے سکتے ہیں۔

انہوں نے والدین سے اپیل کی کہ وہ یہ سمجھیں کہ اپنے بچوں کے لئے پولیو کے دو قطرے کتنے اہم ہیں۔ انہوں نے ضلعی انتظامیہ کو پولیو ٹیموں کو ہر ممکن سہولیات اور تحفظ فراہم کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے کہا کہ ڈپٹی کمشنرز پولیو مہم کی نگرانی کریں جبکہ یہ یقینی بنائیں کہ پولیو مہم کے لئے مقرر کردہ اہداف کو حاصل کیا جاسکے۔

Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan on the special occasion of anti-polio campaign said that a healthy future of the province can be ensured by making the polio campaign a success.

Jam Kamal Khan said the success of the polio campaign would not have been possible without the cooperation of parents and civil society, adding that the increase in polio cases in the last few months was worrying.

He said that all the concerned agencies have to take notice of their shortcomings and weaknesses and rectify them. The services of influential sections of the society, political and tribal elders should also be sought during the polio campaign.

The Chief Minister Balochistan said that access to polio teams should be ensured in all areas and every child. We have to work with a strong national commitment to eradicate a deadly disease like polio. Only by defeating polio can we give our children a secure and healthy future.

He appealed to parents to understand how important two drops of polio are for their children. He directed the district administration to provide all possible facilities and protection to the polio teams. The Chief Minister said that the Deputy Commissioners should monitor the polio campaign while ensuring that the targets set for the polio campaign could be achieved.
