Asad Umar Meets President ICCI and Delegation of Traders

Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar, speaking to a delegation of trade leaders led by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Islamabad, Muhammad Ahmed, said that the government was aware of the business challenges during COVID-19 and assured them that every effort was made to alleviate their suffering.

The Minister of Industry and Production Hamad Azhar was also present on this occasion.

Muhammad Ahmed informed the minister that the business world of Islamabad had strictly followed government guidelines regarding the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. He added that the company could be operated to ensure that the guidelines in a letter were followed by the Spirit.

The delegation made various recommendations regarding the economy, according to which permitted business activities could work without complications. They also presented problems that various companies faced.

The minister told the delegation that the dealer’s recommendations would be duly taken into account.

وزیر منصوبہ بندی ترقی و خصوصی اقدام اسد عمر نے یہاں صدر اسلام آباد چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (آئی سی سی آئی) محمد احمد کی سربراہی میں تاجر رہنماؤں کے وفد سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ حکومت کوویڈ 19 کے دوران کاروباری برادری کے چیلنجوں کے بارے میں جانتی ہے اور یقین دلایا ان کے دکھوں کو دور کرنے کے لئے ہر ممکن کوشش کی جارہی ہے۔

اس موقع پر وزیر صنعت و پیداوار حماد اظہر بھی موجود تھے۔

محمد احمد نے وزیر کو بتایا کہ اسلام آباد کی تاجر برادری کورونا وبائی امراض کے تناظر میں عائد پابندیوں کے بارے میں حکومتی پابندیوں پر سختی سے عمل پیرا ہے ۔

وفد نے معیشت کے پیش نظر مختلف سفارشات پیش کیں کہ جائز کاروباری سرگرمیاں بغیر کسی پیچیدگی کے چل سکتی ہیں۔ انہوں نے مختلف کاروباری اداروں کو درپیش مسائل بھی پیش کیے۔ وزیر نے وفد سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ تاجر کی سفارشات پر غور کیا جائے گا۔
