YDA strike enter in day 4 across Punjab

(eNews.pk) - LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA), Punjab strike against the alleged indifference of the government towards their demand for service structure has entered the fourth day Thursday, Geo news.




The YDA had closed the outpatient departments (OPDS) of public hospitals across the province in protest which caused great inconvenience for patients and their attendants.
However, patients who require treatment outside, did not visit the hospitals in anticipation of the unavailability of health services there. The poor patients received double blow that there were reports that hundreds of operations were postponed in hospitals, in part due to the strike of junior doctors and partly due to loadshedding.

لاہور… پنجاب بھرميں ينگ ڈاکٹروں کي ہڑتال چوتھے روز بھي جاري ہے. سرکاري اسپتالوں کے آو?ٹ ڈورزميں کام بندہونے سے مريضوں کي مشکلات مزيد بڑھ گئي ہيں. پنجاب ميں ينگ ڈاکٹروں نے سروس اسٹرکچر اورديگرمطالبات کے حق ميں 18 جون سے ہڑتال کررکھي ہے ،آو?ٹ ڈورز ميں کام بندہونے سے دوردرازسے آئے مريضوں اوران کے لواحقين کوسخت مشکلات کاسامنا کرناپڑرہاہے.مريضوں کاسوال ہے کہ انہيں کس جرم کي سزا دي جا رہي ہے،ڈاکٹروں کا کہنا ہے کہ حکومت سروس اسٹرکچر کا اعلان کرے تو ہڑتال ختم کرديں گے، ،محکمہ صحت کامو?قف ہے کہ ينگ ڈاکٹرز کي ہڑتال غير قانوني ہے، سپريم کورٹ نے بھي ڈاکٹروں کو ہڑتال سے منع کررکھاہے ،جبکہ ايک کميٹي بھي ڈاکٹروں کے مطالبات کے حل کے ليے کام کر رہي ہے.
