Wisconsin Sikh temple reopened

(eNews.pk) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin: The Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, where six worshipers were gunned down by a white supremacist reopened its doors on Thursday as mourners across the country gathered at Oak Creek in front of a public call and funerals private.




Thousands are expected to attend the wake on Friday at Oak Creek High School, where the bodies of six victims are at rest, according to local leaders of the Sikhs. Among those expected to attend the Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Attorney General Eric Holder.
"Pain shared is halved the sentence," said Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, a spokesman for the Sikh community in Milwaukee, referring to the dozens of victims held vigils across the country this week.
"It restores our faith in humanity. We are overwhelmed by the response," he said.
