Will continue to stabilize oil prices, Saudi Arab

(eNews.pk) - RIYADH: Saudi oil minister Ali al-Naimi said on Tuesday that the country's oil-rich Gulf kingdom will work to meet the world's energy markets and "moderate" prices.




"We will provide markets with what they need," Naim told reporters at the edge of the ministerial meeting in Riyadh. "We will work to moderate prices."
Addressing fellow ministers, Naim warned that oil prices could affect economic growth around the world, especially in emerging economies.
"Oil prices rose in March to a level not seen since 2008, which may adversely affect the global economy, particularly the economy in developing countries and emerging economies, as well as the negative impact of global oil demand," he said.








تیل کی قیمتوں میں استحکام کیلئے کوشش جاری رکھیں گے ،سعودی وزیر پیٹرولیم


ریاض…سعودی عرب عالمی توانائی مارکیٹ کی ضروریات پوری کرنے اور قیمتوں میں استحکام برقرار رکھنے کیلئے کوششیں جاری رکھے گا، یہ بات سعودی عرب کے وزیر پیٹرولیم علی النیامی نے جی سی سی وزراء تیل کے اجلاس کے موقع پر اخبار نویسیوں سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہی۔ تاہم سعودی وزیر پیٹرولیم نے خبردار کیا کہ تیل کی بڑھتی ہوئی قیمتیں دنیا بھر میں اقتصادی گروتھ متاثر کرسکتی ہیں ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 2008ء کے بعد مارچ میں پہلی مرتبہ تیل کی قیمتوں میں اضافہ دیکھنے میں آیا ہے۔ جس سے عالمی معیشت خصوصاً ترقی پذیر ملکوں کی معیشت متاثر ہوئی ہے۔ علی النیامی نے مزید کہا کہ تیل پیدا کرنے والے خلیجی ممالک نے عالمی مارکیٹ میں قیمتیں مستحکم اور برقرار رکھنے میں کامیابی حاصل کی ہے۔
