UK: Boy sneaks onto flight sans passport

(eNews.pk) - LONDON: Manchester Airport launched an urgent investigation Wednesday after an 11-year-old managed to slip through security and fly to Rome without a passport or ticket.




Liam Corcoran walked through security checkpoints without showing any documentation and successfully boarded a Jet2.com flight to the Italian capital Tuesday, the airport in northwest England, he admitted.
Was explored by security personnel, but did not realize his lack of passport and boarding pass, and mingling with a family boarding the plane, the Manchester Evening news reported.
Passengers mid-flight has the child was alone and alerted the cabin crew.
"This extremely serious matter is being investigated urgently by airport officials and airline," said an airport spokesman.
