The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has resumed all types of flight operations as the Pakistani coronavirus situation continues to improve. All airlines operating in the country have been notified of this.

A communication from the civil aviation authority states that international flight operations will resume at all airports from midnight on August 9th.

It should be noted that in view of the coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan suspended all international flights on March 21 and domestic flights on March 26.

Domestic inbound and outbound flights will now resume and international travel will be conducted according to established guidelines. In addition, international cargo and special flight operations will be resumed within the framework of defined SOPs.

Another CAA announcement states that local passengers can travel to and from all airports. It came after yesterday’s announcement that local flights from all airports in the country will resume from August 6 at noon.
