Sherry, US Senator Casey discuss bilateral ties

(eNews.pk) - WASHINGTON: Ambassador of the United States Sherry Rehman had a meeting with Senator Robert P. Casey Jr., a Democrat from Pennsylvania to discuss cooperation relations between the two countries.




According to the Embassy of Pakistan, Ambassador Rehman informed the Senator Casey on recent developments in Pakistan, the United States bilaterally, particularly in the context of the struggle of the improvised explosive device (IED) challenges that threaten common for Pakistan and the United States.
Ambassador shared with Senator comprehensive measures taken by Pakistan to verify the contribution of precursors IED in Afghanistan.
